Discovering self-worth is an important and consistent theme in many of these interviews.

Nancy is a great example of this.

“I started running in 2012 during my divorce. In 2013 it was a way to meet new people. I met great people who inspired me to think bigger; to see the stars in the sky. I believed and even though it was scary to venture out, I found a big world outside my door. I’ve run further and faster than I ever thought possible. Last year it was 48 races, over 1,200 miles, three ultras, 11 states. Sometimes it hurts. I keep going, because #IAmWorthIt”
