It’s all make believe.
Every bit of it.
The rules the strategies the plans and the lifestyle.
They are all pieces of imagination put into books to give them credibility.
But we buy into it.
We believe we need to do this or be that.
Earn this or have that.
Are this or aren’t that.
Through these acts, we make it real.
We follow the rules and the game becomes reality.
I buy the car and a lifestyle is created.
I see the mirror and an insecurity is confirmed.
But in these acts
We miss our power
Through these choices
We deny our strength
While it may be someone else’s imagination
It is our belief that makes it real
The vision may not be from me
But the realization is dependent on us
If only we could believe our own
If only it could be our dreams
Imagine the power we could have
If we would only choose to make believe.
